I currently teach exclusively A level Geography at a local College using the WJEC exam board. I have worked successfully tutoring students 1:1 maths and geography, I also teach the flute and music theory. Whilst I also work with students to gain functional skills in maths and English. With a good understanding of exam and assessment requirements getting those grades is a combination of tutoring subject knowledge and exam technique. For A level students I can also help with the NEA. I have extensive Maths teaching experience across many schools, and many exam boards and have helped my students make exceptional progress over the years, as well as thoroughly enjoying their learning and having the joy and determination to succeed. I have taught a wide range of specifications and I always go the extra mile for all my students and make sure that my lessons are well planned, enjoyable, and tailored to the specific needs of every individual student. I am an exam marker an therefore very familiar with exam specifications, with excellent knowledge of what the examiners are looking for and skills to apply to succeed in exams. I am an OFSTED recognised Outstanding Teacher with a proven track record of success.

Experienced History teacher, having worked in three schools over the last twelve years. Former Pastoral Leader, so have great experience with students with mediical isses, anxiety and other SEN. Have worked with students at all levels, including Oxbridge entrance exams. Have knowledge and familiarity with both AQA and Edexcel at GCSE, and AQA at A Level. Topics I am familiar with include Medicine, Elizabeth 1st, Nazi Germany, America, Indian Independence, Cold War, Soviet and Tsarist Russia, and 19th and 20th century British Social and Political History. Am skilled at working with unengaged students, and providing feedback to improve exam responses. Excellent at forming positive relationships with students and engaging them in whatever topic they need support in.
