I am currently a teacher of History and Humanities (including PSHE, RS and Geography) across KS3 and KS4. I have qualifications in a range of essay-based subjects, including A-Level Sociology and Psychology. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated ECT who, from taking part in the Teach First programme, has the aptitude to balance time well. My specialism is in modern history, especially the Holocaust. I am currently undertaking a MA module with UCL which focuses on the Holocaust in the curriculum, so I am well-versed in academic rigour which shapes my practice. At GCSE, I teach the AQA specification: Germany 1890-1945, The inter-war years 1918-1939, Health and the People 1000-present day and Norman England 1066-1100. Even though I teach AQA I am familiar with other exam boards and I will be able to adapt content and tutoring to suit the needs of what is needed of me.
