Firstly, I am 7 years into my teaching career - currently working as Head of History and a member of senior leadership, working with other departments to help improve results. In the 3 years in my current role as Head of History my department has gone from a pass rate of 38% to 87% with my own personal classes consistently gaining 70%+ in regards to their targets and 5-9. Furthermore, I am an exam marker for Edexcel and A Level, which I mark every year, meaning I am fully up to date with exam board expectations. In regards to subject knowledge, I am a diverse historian who knows the exam specification for Edexcel, AQA and OCR. Furthermore, I have set up my own YouTube channel with my lessons, which your child will have full access too alongside a clear programme of revision, exam technique and mocks which I will mark in the eyes of an examiner.
