I am the current Head of History at a large secondary school in Birmingham covering Years 7-13. I am an OCR examiner and have been for the past 5 years. My classes consistently produce some of the strongest results not only in the school but across the city. Mr Alexander H

University of Oxford educated, qualified History and English teacher, with Head of Department experience, most recently teaching at Rugby School. I tutor History, English and study skills to 11-18 year olds from Key Stage 3, through to GCSE, IGCSE and A Level across all the major Exam Boards. I have extensive experience teaching students with additional needs such as dyslexia, autism and English as a second language. I can also offer bespoke, intensive tutoring to support preparations for School Entrance exams, GCSE re-sits and UCAS applications to Russell Group universities. I currently work full time as a teacher educator, training new teachers in person and over digital platforms, so I know what good teaching looks like. Warwick is a highly qualified and very experienced teacher. He has worked as a full-time tutor for several years across a range of subjects: History, Geography, Psychology and English, from Primary, 11 Plus and Key Stage 3 through GCSE and IGCSE to A-Level and degree level and with all the major exam boards. In a long career, he has held a number of responsibilities as an Assistant Headteacher, as an Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) with responsibility for teacher training, as a Head of a History Department and as a Head of Year. Consequently, he has a vast range of both curriculum and pastoral experience. He works closely with an international examination centre and marks across a range of subjects and exam boards.
