With our service, you don’t need to scroll through endless pages of irrelevant tutors. You just fill in a simple form or call us with your requirements and, within 24 hours, we will send you a shortlist of available teachers in your area.
You can be safe in the knowledge that if you are unhappy with your first lesson (this is rare, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t quite right), we will not charge you for the lesson and we will find you another high-quality teacher.

I am an experienced Middle and Secondary School Teacher and currently teaching full time in an inner-city school up to A Level. Additionally, I have privately tutored for the last 15 years. Moreover, I also write bespoke revision courses to support students and provide intervention in preparation for examinations (11 plus, GCSE and A Levels). I have taught across the Secondary Curriculum age and ability range: History from Key Stages 3 through to GCSE and A Level; English at GCSE; Religious Education and Geography from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE. I am an examiner for Edexcel (GCSE History and Moderator for A Level History). But I have taught across exam boards and specifications for both English and History (AQA/ WJEC and OCR). I also have SEN and EAL experience from the last 15 years. On a personal note, I am a musician and a keen member of an amateur dramatics group and love walking having just recently completed Hadrian's Wall coast to coast. Very much look forward to hearing from you.

I am a qualified History teacher who has been tutoring privately for a period of 6 years. I teach a broad range of subjects including English, Maths, History, Religious Studies and Sociology. All students are welcome for my help. Young or old, people with special educational needs or English as a second language, people who are struggling or those who need help achieving that A/grade 8 or 9 that they might be dreaming of! Any questions do not hesitate to ask. My specialism, in terms of History is in Social History as the study of people and society fascinates me. In my spare time, I like to visit new cities and learn different cultures, take my dog for walks and go out to the theatre (which of course includes eating out). I am also an avid Arsenal fan (I know but someone has to support them)!
