A very experienced teacher of almost 20 years who has taught all around the world in both Primary and Secondary areas, recently teaching at Cheadle Hulme School, currently offering home tuition. A trained History teacher who has written textbooks for Oxford University Press and Heinemanns as well as producing content for BBC Bitesize Revision. Teaches History from Key Stage 2 through to GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level and also teaches Politics to A Level and RE, Geography and Sociology to GCSE. Also tutors primary age children in Maths, English, History, Geography as well as verbal reasoning and STEAM.

I am a secondary qualified teacher of humanities specialising in teaching Geography through to A level and History up to GCSE. I trained at a wide variety of secondary schools throughout my training, including an all girls Church of England Schools, as well as a school in a more deprived area of Liverpool, so have experience dealing with challenging behaviour and disadvantaged pupils. Currently I am employed as a supply teacher in Liverpool and throughout Merseyside, giving me the opportunity to teach in a wide variety of schools, ranging from top performing schools, to smaller schools as well as a Pupil Referral Unit.

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated humanities tutor based in the Merseyside region. Following the completion of my NQT year in December 2016, I have since worked in a variety of teaching environments with experience of catering for pupils of all abilities and with a diverse range of educational needs. Having completed a bachelor’s degree in Geography, as well having chosen it as my specialism during my PGCE year, I am an expert in my field and have a track record of delivering engaging and challenging teaching in the subject across all secondary key stages. Currently I also work part-time as a lecturer in A-Level Geography at Hugh Baird College, Merseyside, a position that has allowed me to further enhance my knowledge and understanding of the key stage five Geography curriculum for the benefit of my tutees. I have also previously taught History to key stages three and four during previous positions, having built upon my A level in the subject to gain a solid understanding of the subject’s curriculum.

I am a qualified and experienced secondary school teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. My specialist subject is History and I have experience of delivering different GCSE and A Level specifications. I also teach Government and Politics at A Level. I have taught English in secondary school to students aged 11 to 14. Currently, I am tutoring private students for English GCSE. In addition, I have taught English as a Foreign Language , both abroad and in the UK. I have been a GCSE History examiner for over 15 years and I currently hold the position of Senior examiner for one of the national boards.

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, with 6 years KS1 and KS2 teaching experience. I am currently a year 5 teacher, planning and delivering lessons to a wide range of children including EAL (English as an additional language) and SEN children. For the past few years, I have also provided private tuition to children who require additional support in KS1 and KS2 SATs preparation as well as entrance examination support for schools across the Merseyside region. In addition to this, I provide general support with maths and English, where I prioritise knowing the learning style of each individual child to provide them with a tailor made learning experience that matches their unique needs exactly.
