I am a highly qualified and experienced native teacher of German for all age groups and levels in a class room, one-to-one and internationally on line. I am currently supply teaching for Prep and Key Stages 3/4.5 GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A-level, for AQA ,Edexcel and Goethe Institute. I am the main speaker with Hodders Education for AQA GCSE and A-level and the Keynote Speaker AQA GCSE Exam Revision Techniques. I also love teaching conversational and business German and can offer additional EAL-tuition. As a native speaker, I can offer a natural feel for the German language, deep cultural knowledge, and natural sounding accents. I have also SEN experience. Last year, after 18 years, I handed over my role as a Principal Examiner for IGCSE German Creative Writing at Cambridge University, The International Examinations. During the earlier stage of my career, I had the opportunity to translate a highly complex and successful medical book from German into English: 'Handsurgery' Volume I and II.

I truly understand the challenges of learning a language and have amassed over a 25 year teaching career a “Mary Poppins Bag of strategies” to ensure that all my students learn, make progress and enjoy themselves! I enjoy teaching students of all abilities, as I firmly believe that anybody can learn a language - it just sometimes takes a little bit of extra practice!
