A little more about Kidlington
Kidlington is a large village and civil parish between the River Cherwell and the Oxford Canal, 5 miles north of Oxford, with a popultaion around 14,000. Kidlington's toponym is derived from the Old English Cudelinga tun: the tun (settlement) of the "Kidlings" (sons) of Cydel-hence. In the 20th century Kidlington grew to be a contender for largest village in England (as well as Europe). In 2016 the BBC reported mysterious weekly coachloads of sightseers in Kidlington, seen posing for photos in front gardens and against parked cars, with no apparent reason for their interest.
We have a large number of teachers who provide high quality home tuition in Kidlington and in the surrounding area, including Bladon, Bletchingdon, Cassington, Elsfield, Headington, Islip, Kirtlington, Marston, Oddington, Oxford, Tackley, Weston On The Green, Woodstock and Wytham.
Our teachers come from the local schools in and around Kidlington; from Primary, Junior and Secondary Schools; from across the State, Academy, Grammar and Independent School Sectors.
