You can be safe in the knowledge that if you are unhappy with your first lesson (this is rare, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t quite right), we will not charge you for the lesson and we will find you another high-quality teacher.
I have been a teacher for over 10 years and currently work at Bexley Grammar School. I teach all year groups as well as being a post sixteen tutor. At KS3 I enjoy creating engaging lessons that allow students to develop geographical understanding and skills. I am responsible for planning all the lessons, resources and assessments for GCSE Geography. We teach the AQA specification. I have also been an AQA examination marker of the unit 2 human geography paper. I teach IB geography to year 12 and 13, with a focus on the core units and option topics of urban environments and hazards. Within this I have delivered IA on the river Darent with all being awarded a grade 6 or 7 by the IB. I have also mentored yr 13 students with their extended essays. A role I really enjoy as I am able to support the development of independent learning and research skills with students. I enjoy getting to know students and supporting them develop as geographical learners and young people.
