I have over 20 years' experience as a teacher; teaching in the primary sector before specialising in maths and science at Year 7, then teaching maths up to GCSE. Since becoming a private tutor in 2015, I have worked with a wide range of students; from those as young as 6 years, up to and including adult learners. Ms Joanne P

An experienced full-time tutor since 2011 with six years teaching experience in the secondary private and state sector in London and Wiltshire, I have been described as a bit of a polymath. I tutor a wide range of subjects, though my specialisms include English and history at all levels and maths up to and including GCSE. I excel at shaping and creating the evidence of quality learning, sparking creativity, and helping students to see the logical steps and links between one concept and another. With this comes confidence, curiosity, and even enjoyment in subjects previously found daunting and difficult.
