Qualified and experienced Geography and History Teacher, with over 26 years' experience, currently Head of Humanities at a local independent college. Previous experience includes 5 years at a SEN school, and 6 years in Belgium teaching IB Geography and MYP Humanities. Has worked with children of all abilities - gifted and talented, and SEN; has developed multi-sensory strategies to suit all abilities. I am a highly experienced teacher, having taught GCSE and A level geography for the last 33 years. I retired from from time teaching two years ago but work part time in an outstanding school in East London. I have an extensive knowledge of the content and exam requirements of the new specifications especially for Edexcel, but am able to adapt to other the syllabus form other boards. I have a proven track record as a tutor as my students have consistently gained very high grades at both GCSE and A level. Many of my students have gone onto to study geography at Russell Group universities.
