Qualified and experienced Geography and History Teacher, with over 26 years' experience, currently Head of Humanities at a local independent college. Miss Rebecca M

I teach all Primary subjects and specialise in English, Maths, Science, PSHE, Geography and History. I have also taught English and Maths up to GCSE. I specialise in teaching SEN and students struggling with reading, writing, spelling and Maths. I am currently studying for a Level 5 Specific Learning Difficulties qualification with the British Dyslexia Association. Previously, I also obtained a Level 5 in teaching Literacy and ESOL teaching adults and children to read and write. I have experience of phonics and sounds, phonological awareness, slow processing and memory difficulties. I have taught functional skills, presenting, speaking and listening and coaching so students gain confidence, have fun and build self esteem.

I am a qualified and experienced primary teacher. I have taught years 1 to 6 for the last 21 years and before that, I taught humanities in secondary schools. I have recently finished teaching in a village primary school and am now teaching in a large city centre primary school. I teach all core subjects within the national curriculum in KS1 and KS2.
