I am an experienced and enthusiastic Business Studies teacher at both GCSE and A Level having taught for over 20 years. I am a qualified science teacher and A-Level Biology teacher with 6 years of experience teaching in Schools within Kent. I currently work as a lead practitioner. I have worked as a Director of Learning for 4 of these years and have a track record of positive results in GCSE students across the 3 sciences. I also have a masters degree in transformational leadership and am a PhD student in Education with Southampton University, I tutor students by creating positive working relationships, helping students identify gaps in their knowledge, teaching them subject knowledge and teaching them revision skills to aid them developing their learning.

Currently in my 20th year of teaching. I hold a management position within my science department at school . I teach Chemistry from Years 9-13 and all 3 sciences at KS3. Alongside teaching, I have been tutoring for 17 years. I was an A Level examiner for AQA to help understand mark schemes in order to aid my teaching back when I first qualified. I teach the AQA specification, but have also taught IB. I am a form tutor for year 12 & 13 so I have good knowledge of the UCAS application process.
