Having just retired from teaching French for over 40 years, I am now looking to tutor students in the subject at all levels including at university standard. I was head of MFL in 2 schools in Gloucester and Swindon and have a wide range of examining experience. I have been a chief examiner for AQA IGCSE French, principal examiner for AQA GCSE French and am currently an assistant lead examiner for AQA GCSE French. I have also examined at A level. I firmly believe that academic excellence, allied to an outgoing nature made me a successful teacher and I would look to bring the same qualities to my job as a tutor.
