Hi there! I am a Teach First ambassador qualified to teach French and Spanish. I hold a BA in both languages from UCL, as well as a PGCE from UCL's Institute of Education. Throughout my teaching career I have achieved outstanding results at both GCSE and A-level. In my first year of teaching, I increased the pass rate (A*-C) for GCSE French from 46% to 83% and my average class grade for A-level Spanish (2019) was an A. I have experience of teaching both French and Spanish at GCSE-level and Spanish until A-level. I am fully equipped to teach both AQA and Edexcel. The A-level resources I am best acquainted with are Como agua para chocolate (literary element) and both Pan's Labyrinth and Volver for the film element. I am flexible and can vary my teaching depending on your child's needs. From my Teach First training, I am well equipped and experienced at teaching a range of abilities and ensuring that they are stretched to reach the best outcomes possible.
