II believe myself to be a bright, engaging and enthusiastic tutor, who has always been fortunate to receive excellent feedback from clients. I gained a BA Hons in Economics and Computing, before gaining a distinction on my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), specialising in Maths and English. I have been teaching for 20 years, and tutoring for 12 years, both 1 to 1 and online. I can offer 1:1 learning support tailored to meet the individual needs of your child. I devise personalised learning programmes with effective, targeted strategies and engaging, practical activities using children's interests and motivations to make the learning fun, identified via an initial assessment. I specialise in Primary Maths and English up to KS4, as well as School Entrance Exams and the 11+ /13+. I have always also believed in talking to parents and student to identify what the specific needs of the student are, as well as providing students with weekly progress notes and follow up work based on learning objectives.
