Qualified and experienced Sociology, Psychology and English Teacher, currently an advisory teacher for children with autism. Teaches Sociology and Psychology at GCSE and A level across all the major Exam Boards; worked as an AQA examiner for A level Sociology for many years. Also teaches English from Prep and Key Stage 3, through to GCSE and IGCSE. Extensive SEN experience, has a postgraduate diploma in autism and has also recently completed the mental health First Aider course and is very interested in supporting children with additional needs.

I am an experienced and qualified Primary Teacher and have worked in primary education for the majority of my professional life and have a huge wealth of skills and experiences. I am now looking for fresh challenges and opportunities. My strongest skill is developing excellent relationships. I am caring, flexible, honest and committed to ensuring the families. I love helping all children achieve their full potential especially children with special needs. I have worked with a great number of children with special needs, including supply at a specialist SEN school working with a class of 4 autistic children. I teach Early Years, KS1, KS2 and have some experience of Year 7 and 8 as I home schooled my own child for a while. As well as the core subjects, I also love History and Geography.
