I am an Assistant Principal, Head of English and an experienced specialist leader in education (SLE) I have been teaching GCSE English language and literature for 10 years and A level literature for 8 years. I have a track record of outstanding results and I am very familiar with the AQA specification. Additionally, I am an experienced AQA literature examiner and have also taught the Edexcel specification.

I am a qualified teacher and have been tutoring GCSE English for 15 years. I get to know my students as I am warm, bubbly and understand the importance of a rapport. I teach effective planning to optimise my students learning. It pays off, as this is a skill that schools simply don’t have the time to invest in. I have helped hundreds of students to get the qualifications they deserve. I am bubbly and highly motivated. My teaching methods work, and my reviews give me great pleasure.
