Prior to that I was a class-based teacher in Bournemouth again teaching across the whole age range. Has worked for the local authority as an advisory teacher and more recently in her local secondary school as the Literacy Coordinator; now teaches and assesses in a variety of locations. As a parent of children with specific learning difficulties, understands how challenging it can sometimes be to identify problems and put in effective support.
