Mrs Jacqeline H

I am a qualified teacher with over 30 years experience, 7 as a tutor. I currently tutor from year 2 to year 9 in all subjects; Maths and English up to GCSE level and Functional skills in maths and English for adults and young people. I specialise in building confidence and helping a student reach their full potential, by using methods that suit the individual student. In addition, I aim to challenge more able students. I have extensive knowledge and experience of SPLD, specifically dyslexia and dyscalculia, ASD and students with anxiety or mental health conditions as well as school refusers. I have been working solely as a private tutor since September 2019, firstly as a face to face tutor but, due to Covid, I transferred to online tutoring in March 2020.
