I have many years of teaching in schools across the age range. I have QTS for ages 3-14 and full enhanced disclosure on the DBS update service. Excellent references can be obtained on request.

Mr Nick D

I am a highly qualified, motivated Teacher of English and Special Educational Needs, with 25 years of experience. I taught at Queens` School, Bushey, Hertfordshire, where I was Deputy Senco, before moving back to my hometown of Doncaster to care for an elderly parent. I love 1-1 and small group work and would love to do a small amount of tuition if possible. I have taught English at Secondary level (11-18) and have a great deal of experience with students who find the curriculum challenging, including teaching at entry level. I have also taught basic numeracy, preparing students to tackle the Foundation Paper at Maths GCSE. Most recently, I have been tutoring GCSE students in English Language and English Literature, with the aim of raising grades. This has been achieved by focusing on the exact requirements of each, individual question, including the specific vocabulary needed. I have found that by improving student knowledge and understanding of the questions, grades can be raised from 4/5 to 6/7 or higher.

Miss Rose U

I am a fully qualified Primary teacher with 8 years of experience. I left my full-time teaching role in order to fulfil my dream of setting up a business, and know that my skills and outlook on life can be greatly appreciated by children up and down the country. My main area of qualities is upper KS2, as I spent a majority of my teaching life in Y6 preparing for SATs and secondary school. I am hugely passionate about nurturing the whole child - not just preparing for a test. I aim to increase confidence and belief in all the children I interact with and have had many glowing reviews from parents because of this.
