I am a qualified and experienced practising English teacher, with extensive experience teaching in both independent and state schools. I am also currently teaching on the teacher training course, sharing Ofsted Outstanding Teaching Practice. I have an excellent proven record of success at GCSE English with 100% pass rate for the past three years at Level 4 and above. A number of my students have also achieved the very top Grade 9 at GCSE. I am currently teaching the Edexcel specification and I am an examiner for the board. Edexcel have also recently introduced a second English specification for 2021 (Pearson Edexcel GCSE (9–1) English Language 2.0), to offer schools choice for their exam and I am fully versed in both of these options.

Mrs Victoria A

I have over 15 years' experience teaching English to Years 7 to 13 across various exam boards including AQA, WJEC and iGCSE. Most recently, I taught at a girls grammar school and have also taught in comprehensives and have extensive experience working with a range of abilities, including students with additional needs. I am enthusiastic, patient and genuinely love teaching. Additionally, I have considerable experience teaching Intervention sessions to individuals and small groups, alongside private tuition both online and in person. I can demonstrate that my students have made excellent progress and achieved their target grades. I teach English at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level and can offer tailored lessons in order to meet the requirements of the student with a considerable background in working with individuals.
