I am an experienced primary school teacher of 6 years based in Nottingham. I have taught classes of every KS2 year group including high numbers of SEN and higher ability pupils. I am practised at coaching Year 6 pupils through their SATs exams and have a thorough and deep knowledge of the entire primary curriculum. I have also been extremely successful at pushing higher ability pupils and deepening their mastery of the curriculum. My teaching is creative, engaging and indivisualised to the needs of each and every pupil. I bring a love and passion to the role that I believe has lit and nurtured a spark within my pupils. While online tutoring is a fairly new venture for me, my classroom experience has given me a wide perspective of the challenges that KS2 pupils face. However, I have also identified the areas in which additional tutoring outside of school can be beneficial and give pupils an additional sense of responsibility and curiosity for learning.
