I have over 25 years of experience as a qualified teacher, working mostly at primary level, although in the last few years I have been working as a supply teacher and have worked in secondary schools also. I have also worked as an exam invigilator for GCSE exams. I have experience of teaching year 6 and being involved in assisting children to work towards SATS, both at KS1 and KS2. Additionally, I have knowledge of various phonics programs, including letters and sounds and Read, Write Inc. and have incorporated both when teaching homeschooled children. Additionally, I have supported a number of students who have taken the 11+ and 13+ entrance exams. Mr Phil G

I have been a former headteacher at two private and two state schools and was a founding director of a Free School in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have experience teaching across the age ranges [KS2-5] and have particular expertise in Biology & Chemistry. I have been teaching two home-educated students in preparation for their GCSE's and working with a number of Y5 & 6 students as they prepare for SAT Tests and/ or 11+ examinations for selective secondary schools.
