I am an English teacher. I recently worked at a secondary school in Bath. I have a great deal of experience at teaching English across the age and ability range at KS3 and KS4 and KS5. I had responsibility for Literacy across the curriculum and overseeing KS3 schemes of learning. In my previous position at an all boys’ school, I was in charge of KS4, so my specialism is GCSE English Language and Literature. I have worked with all of the major exam boards: OCR, Eduqas, Cambridge IGCSE and AQA. I have most recently taught AQA. i am also a GCSE Examiner for AQA.. I have experience supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including EAL, Dyslexia and ASD.

Mrs Helen W

I have had a varied and enjoyable career as a teacher in a wide variety of settings during which I have taught children from Reception to Year 11. positions. I have always taken a particular interest in working with students with anxiety , SEMH and SEND. I have experience in tutoring students both face to face and remotely from Year 4 to Year 11. I have a calm and humorous approach which helps put students at ease ; I like to work with the students interests and leaning styles. I have been working with students to develop confidence and enjoyment in their learning. A key interest of mine is plugging gaps in learning as well as exam preparation for example 11+, SATS preparation, common entrance and maths GCSE.

Mr Samuel C

A qualified, enthusiastic teacher, currently teaching at the Blue School Wells. Prior to my teacher training, I worked as a specialist TA for the English department, focusing on those students with particular learning needs, and as an intervention tutor for students looking to improve their grades, whether from a 3 to a 4 or a 6 to a 9. I teach both KS3 and KS4 classes, focusing on both Language Papers and Literature.
