Our English Tutors in Falmouth are all fully-qualified teachers, who also offer their skills as high-quality home tutors. All are subject-specialists, professional, reliable, and are up-to-date with Examination Boards and the current demands of a changing curriculum. Lessons are taught at your home or online and are scheduled at your convenience; whether weekdays, evenings or weekends.

With our service, you don’t need to scroll through endless pages of irrelevant tutors. You just fill in a simple form or call us with your requirements and, within 24 hours, we will send you a shortlist of available teachers in your area.
You can be safe in the knowledge that if you are unhappy with your first lesson (this is rare, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t quite right), we will not charge you for the lesson and we will find you another high-quality teacher.

I qualified in 1984 with my PGCE from Cambridge University and since then I have taught in a variety of schools in both the private and state sector in London & the South East where I taught at The Judd School in Tonbridge teaching English GCSE and Latin A level. My most recent school post was teaching GCSE English AQA Board in Sussex. I have been tutoring for the last 20 years for the Kent 11 Plus examination including my own children, who all gained places at Kent Grammar schools, and also tutoring English Literature & Language at GCSE and A Level. I have recently moved from Kent to Cornwall but I am still in touch with my students and it is wonderful to see them progressing in their lives. I can supply email addresses of my clients in Sussex / Kent whose children I taught English Literature and Language to on a one to one basis. My own children have dyslexia and ADHD and I have helped them in their studies to secure places at Manchester and Bristol University.
