I left my full-time teaching role in order to fulfil my dream of setting up a business, and know that my skills and outlook on life can be greatly appreciated by children up and down the country. My main area of qualities is upper KS2, as I spent a majority of my teaching life in Y6 preparing for SATs and secondary school. I am hugely passionate about nurturing the whole child - not just preparing for a test. I aim to increase confidence and belief in all the children I interact with and have had many glowing reviews from parents because of this. I believe that having fun is a huge advantage to learning, therefore aim to make my sessions interactive and memorable.

Education professional with a background in Primary School teaching. Over a decade's worth of experience working in Devon and Greater Manchester working across KS2 primarily- working as a classroom teacher, French specialist teacher, PPA teacher and Art specialist teacher. I have also supported groups of children and individuals with their 11+ examinations for entry to grammar school. These have been local to Manchester as well as nationally. I aim a Fine Art, French and English Language specialist having both tutored these subjects to both children and adults. I acknowledge different learning styles and ways of interpreting different ideas. I am to tailor make sessions to suit their abilities and interests. Now a full-time tutor offering Primary English, and English Literature and Language from Key Stage 2, through Key Stage 3, GCSE / IGCSE and on to A level, across the major exam boards. Please note that I am not teaching English Language A level at present due to having a tight schedule. Also experienced as a GCSE examiner. With 15 years’ experience in both Primary and Secondary sectors, I am a Senior Leader who brings about rapid improvements in my areas of responsibility with proven credibility. As Director of Learning, I currently provide pedagogical leadership to support teaching and learning across a group of schools, working closely with learners who require additional support or challenge to reach their potential.
