Miss Hannah B

English teacher, currently at King Edward VI School, Stratford-upon-Avon. Experienced teaching English Language and Literature from 11-18. I have been tutoring students aged 8-18 since 2017; worked as classroom support in an adult education setting, and am a trained oracy coach and mentor for the English Speaking Union, delivering debate workshops for students from primary school right through to undergraduate. Offering tutorials at every level from 11+ to A Level. It was always my ambition to teach, and I have come to the classroom through a lifelong love of language and literature, which it is a joy to share with my students. I take pride in building a classroom environment founded on the skills students bring to the table, prioritising fresh ways to engage with texts and fostering an atmosphere of excitement. I strongly believe that relationship building is at the heart of what happens in the classroom, and that tutoring should grow out of the needs and interests of the pupil in front of you.

Miss Laura H

Hello, I’m Laura - an enthusiastic, experienced primary school teacher who loves nothing more than supporting children to develop into confident, independent learners. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience teaching several year groups across the primary phase, with the majority of my experience coming in the three key year groups. I am incredibly passionate about encouraging and supporting all of my students to become the greatest version of themselves that they can possibly be. I am now into my eighth year of teaching, currently working in Year 6. I began my teaching career in EYFS, where I remained for three years. Following that, I spent two years in Year Two before moving up to Year Four and then Year Six. With my experience across the entire Primary phase, I am confident that I will be able to support your child to achieve above and beyond expectations. Within our aspirations, we find our opportunities.
