Paul B

PGCE with QTS, Primary Education, University of Brighton (1993). BA (Hons) Economics and Maths, University of Brighton (1988).

Member since 2016 Mr Paul B

I believe myself to be a bright, engaging and enthusiastic tutor. I gained a BA Hons in Maths, before gaining a distinction on my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), specialising in Math, English and children with Special Educational Needs including Dyslexia and Autism. I have been teaching for 20 years, and tutoring for 12 years, both 1 to 1 and online. I specialise in English and Maths, having been Lead teacher for both in previous schools. I have also managed the Special Needs provision at a school and achieved outstanding judgments from Ofsted for the quality of teaching provided and learning outcomes of the children in my classes. I can offer 1:1 learning support tailored to meet the individual needs of your child. I devise personalised learning programmes with effective, targeted and engaging strategies. I have always also believed in talking to parents and student to identify what the specific needs of the student are, as well as providing students with weekly progress notes.
