Member since 2020 Mrs Patricia G

I am a qualified teacher and graduated from Warwick University in 1990. I currently work for Kent Health Needs Education Service and teach pupils who are unable to attend school due to physical or mental health issues. I was a Primary school teacher for many years and gained experience in all year groups. I also have a Diploma in teaching pupils with Dyslexia. I have been doing 11 plus tuition for 15 years offering an individual programme for each pupil, based on their strengths and weaknesses. I begin preparing for the test in year 4 or 5 by ensuring sound knowledge in basic Maths and English. As the exam approaches, I offer mock tests to ensure pupils become confident with the material and exam techniques. Students will be sent an assessment to complete ahead of the first taster session, which is free. All 5 of my students who sat their 11 plus in October 2020 were successful in passing their Kent, Bexley and Medway tests.
