Mrs Sanum S

Over 11 years of teaching experience in a mainstream Inner London school. I teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 English Literature and English Language. I only work with AQA for KS4. I am Head of Literacy at my current school and therefore am able to really push students when it comes to reading widely whilst also developing their vocabulary as well as obviously ensuring they are meeting their potential within the subject. For KS3 I mainly focus on analytical writing, creative writing, oracular and reading strategies. For KS4 I would be looking to work with students in whichever unit they are least confident in. All my tuition sessions initially begin with a baseline test so I can have clear evidence of a child’s ability. I am firm, reliable and committed in ensuring I get the best out of every child I work with through providing engaging and interesting lessons and resources.
