I am a qualified and experienced English Teacher, who taught for 30 years at Millfield School in Somerset. I taught English Language and English Literature from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, IGCSE, and A Level. I set and marked exam papers for the scholarship exam and other entrance cexams into the school. I was in charge the Common Entrance assessment process. I was also the Oxbridge mentor for pupils in the Sixth Form. I was heavikly involved in the university application priocess, writing hundreds of UCAS references for students. In 2017, I was featured as an "inspiring teacher" in the TES.

I moved to Weston-super-Mare 13 years ago and for the last 3 years have been working in Alternative Provisions with children with ASD and complex needs. I have worked throughout the school age phases, from Nursery to working with school leavers with ASD.
