Qualified and experienced English teacher and senior leader with a multi-academy trust in south London. Has over six years of experience of teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4, including three years as Head of Department with a leading academy (OFSTED Outstanding). Has a deep knowledge of GCSE Language and Literature and led the school's transition into the new 9-1 GCSE syllabus. Has also trained as an examiner with AQA and published a number of top-selling revision resources on the TES website. Experience of teaching a range of students from top-set high-attainers to the most challenging low-attainers and SEN students.

I am a qualified and experienced teacher with many years' experience in both the state and private sectors, currently working as a private tutor, face-to-face and/or via Zoom. I teach English from Primary through Prep and up to GCSE and A Level; also Maths from Primary through to GCSE; and Sociology at GCSE and A Level. All my previous GCSE students have improved their grades by at least one band from school predictions; many have improved by two bands and several have increased by three. I have tutored numerous, successful 11+ and 13+ candidates and can also offer help with school entrance interview skills. I am patient and encouraging and my students grow in knowledge, skills and self-belief. I also have SEN experience.
