Until July 2021 I worked at Ursuline High School, Wimbledon, a high achieving girls’ school with a Co-Ed 6th form. I have also tutored for 5 years including a homeschooled boy for the last 3 years. I have also taught on the PGCE course at Brunel University training English secondary school teachers. Over the last three years I have tutored a student on the autistic spectrum with social anxiety. He has just passed both GCSE English Language and Literature with good grades despite many setbacks and challenges. It’s very important to me to connect well with the students I teach and I feel the wealth of knowledge I possess helps me achieve this.
