Miss Rose U

I am a fully qualified Primary teacher with 8 years of experience. I left my full-time teaching role in order to fulfil my dream of setting up a business, and know that my skills and outlook on life can be greatly appreciated by children up and down the country. My main area of qualities is upper KS2, as I spent a majority of my teaching life in Y6 preparing for SATs and secondary school. I am hugely passionate about nurturing the whole child - not just preparing for a test. I aim to increase confidence and belief in all the children I interact with and have had many glowing reviews from parents because of this. I believe that having fun is a huge advantage to learning, therefore aim to make my sessions interactive and memorable.

At A-Level I tutor in the areas of genre, textual study, context, wider reading and extended coursework elements. Throughout lockdown, I taught via Zoom, and I am happy to offer tutoring via this medium to students as I have found it to be an excellent method of intervention.
