In the previous twenty years working in Newcastle and Gateshead Council’s Adults Education, at Newcastle College Group, at Sunderland College and several secondary schools across the North East of England I have developed a deep knowledge of the GCSE Mathematics syllabus, and the ability to deliver targeted outcomes when working with challenging young people and Adult learners as shown in quality report graded one. I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics and I believe the secret of outstanding teaching is care. Taking pride and care in your work, caring about the student, caring about how they feel, about what interests them, about how best to support them in their present efforts, and their future ambitions. Caring for students and helping them to achieve their best must be the greatest good a teacher can do. I am qualified at Honors Degree level and hold the relevant teaching qualifications with QTLS status .
