A radically different approach to English tutoring- This is my unique selling point: My approach focuses on specific language and structural techniques, how to use them easily and why they work. It produces dramatic breakthroughs after as little as two to three lessons. My students are enthused and encouraged after lesson one as their confidence soars. Even students who ' don't get English ', realise that using simple techniques, they are guaranteed to improve significantly. I also prepare students for Common Entrance, which overlaps somewhat with the above, the same writing skills being necessary, giving them a unique opportunity to stand out. I also teach primary maths, with a speciality being times tables. My method here is to use highly memorable songs and jingles. My (brief) biography- I taught Secondary English and Primary ( all subjects) for 24 years in Worcestershire and the West Midlands. Presently I am focused upon individual tutoring, where I see the most dramatic impacts.
