For over a decade, I was a successful MFL practitioner, but in more recent years, I have transitioned to developing tailored literacy and English support to students with widely varying SEN and EAL needs. This role builds on my existing experience (both in the UK and in Germany) and is one that I am passionately committed to. I am now undertaking an MSc at Brunel University in the Anthropology of Childhood, Youth and Education whilst tutoring. I have a first class undergraduate degree from the University of St Andrews in Anthropology with modules in History and English. I teach English across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and also offer preparation for scholarship, school entrance exams and interviews. I have experience in supervising the IB reflective project and extended essay. I have been an exam marker for language and literature Edexcel GCSE and taught both the AQA and Edexcel syllabus. I also have SEN experience. I am passionate about engaging students in their learning by tailoring my approach to take into account the whole person.
