I qualified as a primary school teacher in 1993. I have taught all ages in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2: working in The Channel Islands, London, Bedfordshire and Suffolk in all kinds of schools. I was a former deputy headteacher in a school for children with learning difficulties. I have been tutoring for a numberof years now and with great success. I mainly tutor in English and Mathematics for Key Stage 1 & 2 but occasionally older pupils who need a boost in literacy and numeracy and preparation for SATs.The transition from Primary to Secondary school can challenge some pupils as can moving year groups in Primary - particularly if they are one of the youngest in their year group. As an experienced teacher I can help with gaps in knowledged / preparation for SATs etc. I am more than happy to tutor online using Zoom etc should parents request this. If other subjects are required I will give serious consideration to the request including Arts subjects as I am an artist in residence at a Bedfordshire gallery.
