Miss Brickley S

I am a young and dynamic teacher, I try to make learning fun, memorable and relatable by getting to know my students and shaping the learning based on their interests and needs. Currently teaching English Language and English Literature in a private international school, prior to this I taught in a secondary school in South London. I am also employed by the AQA exam board as an examiner, marking exam scripts and so I receive up to date insight on exam techniques and how to secure top marks. I have 4 years of secondary school teaching experience and 9 years of private tutoring experience. I am a Senior Examiner at A level for OCR and have thirty years experience as a Head of English, beginning at Wycombe Abbey School before moving on to be Assistant Head Teacher. I have been teaching online for six years with an excellent record of results and can offer excellent testimonials. I have experience in a full range of IGCSE, GCSE and A Level Specifications in both English and English Literature. As Senior Examiner I am involved in both marking and paper-setting.
