I am an experienced teacher and tutor with over 20 years experience behind me. I studied Social Sciences at degree level at the University of Plymouth and qualified as a teacher in 1996. Since then I have spent the majority of my career working in secondary schools with students aged 11 - 18 . I have used my degree to teach Sociology A level and has also taught Religious Studies to A level, after studying intensely during my PGCE training. I also teach English and Maths to GCSE level through my own tuition business which I manage in my local area of Dorset. I have also had three years experience as a GCSE examiner for AQA. I am also currently tutoring Functional Skills. I have been running my business for nearly two years and have a wide collection of 5* reviews. I am a friendly and professional tutor with a passion for helping young people to achieve and grow in confidence.
