I am a qualified English teacher with significant experience in preparing children for 11+ and 13+ exams. I have taught in both the state and independent sectors and have been an exam marker for KS2 SATs and GCSE English Lit and Lang. I have additional qualifications in literary difficulties and have undertaken extensive training in supporting children with creative writing. I am currently working with an editor and my first middle grade book is out on submission. I am passionate about reading and enthusing children, particularly reluctant readers.
