I have over 15 years experience as an English teacher and I have taught in mainstream classes in Secondary Schools and in Sixth Form Colleges. I have worked with a variety of students, from EAL Students on a 1 : 1 basis within a school to privately, from a home setting, mainly teaching GCSE. English Literature and Language. I tutor students in preparation for A-Levels and GCSEs, from a variety of schools in Sheffield including Westbourne School, Birkdale School, Sheffield Girls High School. I am a fully qualified English Teacher currently working in a school as the Head of the English Department. I have thirteen years experience of teaching English in secondary schools including extensive experience of GCSE exam preparation and closing the learning gaps of KS3 and KS4 learners that need extra support to catch up. I also have three years experience of being an AQA GCSE English Language Examiner as well as tutoring students from primary age up to A level for the last ten years.
