Katherine N

BA (Hons) Primary Teaching. Dip Level 7 Assessing and Reporting for Specific Learning Difficulties. Dip Level 5 Teaching those with Specific Learning Difficulties.

Member since 2020 Mrs Katherine N

Welcome, my name is Katherine Neale. I am a fully qualified teacher as well as a certified specialist teacher who can assess and report on specific learning difficulties. I enjoy working with learners and seeing them achieve their goals. I appreciate that each student is unique, so I always strive to ensure my tutoring reflects their individual needs, aims and learning style. I endeavour to spark the student’s interest in a subject. I often find that the best way is to relate this to each student by highlighting its relevance outside of an academic context. Once that eagerness is there, confidence I believe is the key to a successful academic learning; I am generous with praise and do all I can to ensure my students feel empowered. I have taught a range of pupils from 5 to 18 years. I have considerable experience in a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, behavioural issues and pupils with English as an additional language. I also have worked with pupils with gaps as well as deepen their learning.

Subjects: Primary, SEN, Maths, English, SATs, Homeschool

A little more about Bucknell

Bucknell is a small village and civil parish in northwest Oxfordshire, with a population less than 300. After the Norman Conquest of England, William the Conqueror granted the Manor of Bucknell to Robert D'Oyly. The present manor house is early 17th century, but was mostly rebuilt in the 19th century. The Trigger Pond pub in Bucknell is 17th-century and is a well-renowned gastropub in the area.

We have a large number of teachers who provide high quality home tuition in Bucknell and in the surrounding area, including Ambrosden, Ardley, Aynho, Bicester, Blackthorn, Chesterton, Croughton, Fringford, Fritwell, Hethe, Launton, Merton, Middleton Stoney, Mixbury, Souldern, Stoke Lyne, Stratton Audley, Tendring, Wendlebury and Weston-on-the-Green.

Our teachers come from the local schools in the region; from Primary, Junior and Secondary Schools; from across the State, Academy, Grammar and Independent School Sectors.
