An award-winning poet, James is an Ambassador for National Poetry Day and has written numerous critically-acclaimed poetry/non-fiction books for children as well as resource manuals for Primary/Secondary teachers. In the last 18 years, James has visited over 1400 Primary/Prep/Special schools to run poetry workshop days. His greatest passion is that of encouraging children to write - to nurture, develop and extend their literary skills as well as their powers of expression and communication. James lives with his family in South Oxfordshire.
