Currently a Specialist Teacher at Bruton School for Girls, teaches learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties and English at both Primary and Secondary levels. Has worked for the local authority as an advisory teacher and more recently in her local secondary school as the Literacy Coordinator; now teaches and assesses in a variety of locations. As a parent of children with specific learning difficulties, understands how challenging it can sometimes be to identify problems and put in effective support. Currently pursuing a PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Bristol, and providing private tuition in English and Maths for KS3 and GCSE (Foundation level only in Maths).
