I am an English Teacher with 17 years experience of teaching from 11-19. The bulk of my career has been spent teaching and writing curriculum for A level English Language and English Literature. I have also taught a range of exam boards and texts at GCSE level. I have spent time as an examiner for both GCSE and A level English Literature and have led Key Stages in these qualifications. I am a fully qualified English Teacher currently working in a school as the Head of the English Department. I have thirteen years experience of teaching English in secondary schools including extensive experience of GCSE exam preparation and closing the learning gaps of KS3 and KS4 learners that need extra support to catch up. I also have three years experience of being an AQA GCSE English Language Examiner as well as tutoring students from primary age up to A level for the last ten years.
