I see myself as an enthusiastic and enlightening tutor, having taught for over 20 years, in the role of teacher, lead teacher for English and Deputy Head teacher. For the last 12 years, I have worked with children in Key Stage 2 who are looking to gain higher attainment and greater confidence in both English and Maths. I am a young and dynamic teacher, I try to make learning fun, memorable and relatable by getting to know my students and shaping the learning based on their interests and needs. Currently teaching English Language and English Literature in a private international school, prior to this I taught in a secondary school in South London. I am also employed by the AQA exam board as an examiner, marking exam scripts and so I receive up to date insight on exam techniques and how to secure top marks. I have 4 years of secondary school teaching experience and 9 years of private tutoring experience.
