I have over 15 years experience as an English teacher and I have taught in mainstream classes in Secondary Schools and in Sixth Form Colleges. I have worked with a variety of students, from EAL Students on a 1 : 1 basis within a school to privately, from a home setting, mainly teaching GCSE. English Literature and Language. I tutor students in preparation for A-Levels and GCSEs, from a variety of schools in Sheffield including Westbourne School, Birkdale School, Sheffield Girls High School. I enjoy this 1 : 1 work, as I am able to specifically adapt work for individual students, giving them a personal tutoring service that brings some rewarding results. Mrs Fiona E

With 15 years’ experience in both Primary and Secondary sectors, I am a Senior Leader who brings about rapid improvements in my areas of responsibility with proven credibility. As Director of Learning, I currently provide pedagogical leadership to support teaching and learning across a group of schools, working closely with learners who require additional support or challenge to reach their potential. My Creative Arts background allows me to use a variety of methods to make learning fun and engage pupils in different ways, whilst achieving great results.
