Qualified and experienced English teacher and tutor. I teach GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English at Writtle University College. I also have an interest in improving the emotional intelligence and mental wellbeing of young people and I develop and create wellbeing programmes for children and young people using the scientific research of positive psychology. Currently studying MSc Applied Positive Psychology.

I am an experienced and qualified Primary Teacher and have worked in primary education for the majority of my professional life and have a huge wealth of skills and experiences. I am now looking for fresh challenges and opportunities. My strongest skill is developing excellent relationships. I am caring, flexible, honest and committed to ensuring the families. I love helping all children achieve their full potential especially children with special needs. I have worked with a great number of children with special needs, including supply at a specialist SEN school working with a class of 4 autistic children. I teach Early Years, KS1, KS2 and have some experience of Year 7 and 8 as I home schooled my own child for a while. As well as the core subjects, I also love History and Geography.
