I am a qualified teacher with over 30 years experience, 7 as a tutor. I currently tutor from year 2 to year 9 in all subjects; Maths and English up to GCSE level and Functional skills in maths and English for adults and young people. I specialise in building confidence and helping a student reach their full potential, by using methods that suit the individual student. In addition, I aim to challenge more able students. I have extensive knowledge and experience of SPLD, specifically dyslexia and dyscalculia, ASD and students with anxiety or mental health conditions as well as school refusers. I also have experience of teaching adults and young adults in both the UK and in Germany. I seek to find practical solutions to the issues these students face in their learning as well as mentoring them if required.
